Bring generations together
Increase representation
Create a sense of belonging
Care for our people
Here's some insight into what we’re doing together:
At the start of 2026, we launched our new Inclusion & Wellbeing Commitments, setting out what we can do together to embed inclusion and wellbeing into our everyday work and culture. Our four commitments; bring generations together, increase representation, create a sense of belonging and care for our people, are brought to life through a series of initiatives, tool kits and resources.
From initiatives that focus on our 50+ talent, that focus on inter-generational l working and developing our people; to our virtual GP and well being site visits, the wellbeing of our people is at the heart of what we do.
Through our Inclusion & Wellbeing series, a calendar of events and activities that run throughout the year, range from on-site events to interactive discussions and expert insights.

Harnessing the Power of Our 50+ Talent
With our diverse and multi generational workforce we're able to bring together expertise, innovation and fresh perspectives. We're not just talking about age diversity, we're celebrating it!
We are proud to have joined the London Pride Parade along with our colleagues in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. A crucial event in our inclusion & Wellbeing series to spread our message of being Proud at Veolia.
Our Employee Advisory Board, UNITY plays a vital role in supporting our inclusion journey. Made up of colleagues from across the organisation who supports the delivery of inclusion and wellbeing initiatives to our frontline colleagues, the group engages our people and conducts listening sessions ensuring every voice is heard, supporting us in creating an inclusive environment.

We’ve signed the Armed Forces Covenant and we’re honoured to have Reservists, Service Leavers, Armed Forces Veterans, Cadet Instructors and military partners among our teams. We understand and value the knowledge and skills that they bring to our business and society.
Next Steps
Our Sustainable Futures programme allows those nearing the end of a prison sentence to engage in work via release on temporary licence. It also helps ex-offenders to get back into the world of work, creating meaningful careers and thriving communities.
