Salary: £37,811.96  plus bonus. OTE = £44,068.15 (pay review pending)

Occasional overtime at £18.14ph and £24.18ph

Hours: 4 on 2 off shift pattern, 07:45 - 17:30 (Winter) / 18:30 (select days in Summer)

Base Location: Huyton Transfer Station, Huyton, Merseyside, L36 6BN but will also work out of Bidston and Gillmoss. 

This is a fixed term role for up to 6 months

What will you be doing?

• Drive and operate rigid and when required articulated vehicles (subject to appropriate licence category) to transport waste and recycling materials

• Undertake daily pre and post operation vehicle checks

• Report service, safety and environmental issues

• Participate in Tool Box Talks and engage with issued communications

• Complete paper and digital records of work activity

What are we looking for?

• HGV Cat C licence

• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card

• Good IT skills to record data

• HGV CE Licence desirable
