Cash Allocations Clerk - 9 Month Contract

Salary: Competitive plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire- Hybrid working

What will you be doing?

  • Posting daily BACS and Credit Card payments on accounting systems; Workday and Sage

  • Resolving queries

  • Assisting external customer queries regarding their unallocated cash whilst maintaining data protection at all times

  • Allocate transfers

  • Ensuring cheques have been processed promptly and accurately

  • Process indemnities and netting

  • Request and process refunds

  • Keep all accounting Spreadsheets up to date

  • Call Monthly DD run and post once received

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a similar role 

  • Experience and understanding the importance of meeting company SLAs at targets

  • Excellent numerical ability

  • Polite and assertive verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Microsoft Office and Google applications experience
