What you'll be doing:

  • Plan and manage all maintenance work across our new plastic recycling facility in Shrewsbury ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and procedural requirements.

  • Manage and coordinate maintenance contractors and subcontractors including conducting due diligence audits and SLA reviews

  • Create and maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules and asset registers while managing work order processes, including breakdown responses and KPI monitoring.

  • Oversee engineering stores management, including stock control, safety-critical inventory and monthly reconciliation

  • Direct and coordinate facilities estate maintenance operations, managing a maintenance team and liaising with internal/external customers

  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, identifying cost reduction opportunities and providing financial summaries. 



 

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in facilities/maintenance management with proven track record of managing maintenance operations and contractors

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and processes, with IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred 

  • Experience using CMMS software and PPM systems, with knowledge of building management systems (BMS)

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels up to Director level
