Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8-4:30pm/8:30-5pm)

What you’ll be doing; 

  • Generate and check weekly and monthly tonnage reports; data input, analysis and reporting

  • Support purchase ledger management, ensuring internal controls are adhered to, including reconciliation of supplier statements, requesting POs and processing invoices

  • Management of invoice queries with suppliers

  • Support the generation of the monthly Client invoice, sales invoices and recycling centre subcontractor payments

  • Provide administrative cover for the Contract Head Office as and when appropriate including reception and administrative duties

  • Supporting and organising meetings and events

  • Telephone point of contact for residents of Nottinghamshire County, answering queries, providing information

  • Processing of complaints and compliments and associated correspondence

  • Weighbridge cover

What we're looking for;

  • Previous experience gained in an administrative role

  • Effective time management and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Previous experience gained handling large amounts of data

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal due to speaking with colleagues, customers and suppliers daily

  • Experience with using multiple systems

  • A person with a keen eye for detail
