Hours: Full time - 37 hours per week
Location: Veolia Water Outsourcing Ltd, Seafield, Edinburgh

As an ICA Technician you’ll deliver technical support for the wastewater process from a functional control perspective, in the support of the safe and efficient wastewater process.

What you'll be doing;
Responsible for providing technical support and completing planned preventative/planned corrective maintenance activities across the AVSE and the accurate and timely completion of work orders and the associated documentation.
Responsible for the interface between design engineers, operational engineers, clients and suppliers.
Assist in fault finding and reverse engineering of on site automation/PLC requirements in support of the ongoing operations.
Provide on site support to the site engineering field staff on multi discipline capital and operational maintenance tasks.
Assist maintenance team where required on troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Responsible for maintaining the highest level of on site health and safety standards for yourself and the other members of the field teams.
Reporting accurate data into the computerised maintenance management system and providing up to date asset information.
Assist the wider team where required in trouble-shooting and problem-solving associated with asset related issues.
What we're looking for;
Recognised engineering qualifications with relevant instrumentation experience and formal training.
Knowledge of PLC programming and SCADA systems with understanding of process impacts.
Knowledge of all areas, sites and processes within the AVSE contract , would be advantageous
Practical understanding of health and safety legislation and their responsibilities.
A good working knowledge of all legislative, and legal requirements regarding Health and Safety
Knowledge of the Veolia health and safety culture and H&S legislation and all processes in place within the business would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of Google packages, experience of computerised maintenance management package(s) is essential.
Strong Commercial awareness, and proven track record of managing contractors/sub contractors.
Full driving licence required

Health and Safety awareness/qualifications.
Confined space awareness/qualification.
General permit to work systems.
Risk assessment and method statement training.
