Senior Contract Manager (Municipal Waste)

Salary: £70,000 per annum plus bonus, company car/cash allowance, medical cover and pension

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Location: Greenwich, London

What you'll be doing;

• Manage the delivery of municipal services across multiple or a single large contract including people, site & resources.

• Deliver effective & safe services to maximum operational efficiency, within budget & to VMR standard. 

• Develop and maintain relations with key stakeholders; client, members, residents, staff, unions.

• Ensure safety & well being of all employees and those affected by our operations.

• Ensure all operations are run in compliance to Veolia requirements and any appropriate legislation.

• Providing clear, transparent & accurate reporting of business performance.

• Delivering operational efficiencies through use of digital, asset utilisation and cost control.

• Set and present budgets, manage monthly financial performance and deliver the contract against required budgets and KPIs.

• Present contract reviews and monthly reports.

• Championing inclusion in the workplace and developing and maintaining employee engagement.

What we're looking for;

• IOSH Managing Safely

• Previous experience within the waste industry.

• Contract Management experience (large scale) and experience working with the local authorities.

• Previous people management experience.

• Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.

• CoTC In Waste Management or similar.

• Financial and budget management experience.
