Credit Service Support Specialist

Salary: up to £31,000 plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire- Hybrid working

What will you be doing?

  • Manage own tasks and prioritise. Also work with other team members to come up with efficiencies and improvement ideas

  • Deputise for Credit Services Support Manager when on leave.

  • Task Control - Takes ownership for ensuring tasks are completed in timely manner

  • Manages own workload and priorities to meet deadlines

  • Works with a high level of recommendations for improvements and efficiencies within the department

  • Compiling essential documents for external auditors and CAP audit reviews (group audits) ensuring compliance, accuracy and transparency.

  • Efficiently raising purchase orders for the FSSC.

  • Coordinating the procurement of Barclaycard machine orders, and diligently handling customer refunds to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Actively involved in month-end reporting and the provision and accuracy of data.

  • Provide support to the cash allocation team to ensure cash is allocated accurately and in a timely manner and may also be asked to play an active role in the opening of new customer accounts on Workday

  • Support with the management and administration of Departmental Procedures and Job Aids ensuring up to date.

  • Support the factoring submission when required

  • Dealing with Adhoc reporting requests

  • Working with DB & T on efficiencies

  • Liaise with both internal and external customers and auditors, especially to answer their questions.

  • Involved in process reviews and implementation

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a similar role 

  • Strong Analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on own initiative 

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • IT proficiency

  • Project management 

  • Microsoft Office and Google applications experience
