Salary - £12.21 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Hours - Full time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

7am starts

Finish time approximately 3pm or until the round is complete - overtime will then be paid

Location - Craven Arms, SY7 8DU

What will you be doing?

•  Collecting waste from domestic properties in the local area

• Accurately record work completed and report any collection issues that arise during the round via the mobile tablet devices.

• To return all containers to their correct location after collection as directed

• Assist other Collection crews to complete work when requested to do so

• To ensure that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area

• To undertake ad-hoc duties as required to maintain a safe, clean working environment and service to our customers. 

What are we looking for?

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and with the general public

• Previous experience of working in a similar operational manual handling role.

• Enjoys working outdoors in a manual role

• Full UK driving licence

This position includes working outside in all weather conditions and a lot of walking daily.
