What you'll be doing;

  •  Support the delivery of small to medium projects on municipal wastewater and bioresource treatment sites within the Omega PFI contract across sites in Northern Ireland, from Belfast to Armagh. 

  • Defining the scope of works, costing, designing, working with others and delivering to tight timescales.

  • Support the Programme Manager responsible for the delivery of valued added solutions for beneficial use for the operational teams and ensuring Veolia meets our client’s needs.

  • Supervise contractors and at times site staff.

  • Recommend solutions that meet the project brief and convey these with the Programme Manager.

  • Participate actively in asset planning and delivery routine by providing input and gathering data for yearly reporting and database update

  • Conduct  annual individual  Asset Condition and criticality assessment and updating database  

  • Provide data for new assets and update existing asset  registers with such data then interface with EAM VAMS system, Sinapse and HxGNtools.   

What we're looking for;

  • Engineering related formal qualification

  • At least 2 years working in a project environment

  • Experience in on site engineering or project management

  • Experience of managing a programme of projects

  • Previous experience of management of contractors

  • IOSH Managing safely or equivalent

  • Negotiation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • APM/Prince Qualification would be beneficial

  • Wastewater experience would be beneficial
