What you’ll be doing; 

  • Assisting the Business Manager in overseeing the different HWRC sites

  • Maintain and enhance the current safety culture focusing on the key corporate messages 

  • Maintain compliance with all external and internal regulatory bodies to ensure standards maintained 

  • Operation of company software to review  reports and statistics on safety and develop new local strategies or messages to ensure safe working environments are maintained 

  • External contractor management and control

  • Effectively plan available resources to ensure smooth operation

  • Performance - using KPI’s to monitor and report on performance to Business / compliance managers

  • Absence management in line with company policy and procedure

  • Employee relations managed in line with all company policies and procedures

  • Succession planning - to ensure all operatives have a mapped career pathway

  • Assisting the Business Manager with budgets and maintaining cost control 

What we're looking for;

  • Experience gained in a Supervisory role 

  • Previous experience gained in a waste environment is desirable

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • Previous experience gained working towards KPI’s
