Salary: £28,267.20 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, 07:00 till 15:30

What you’ll be doing;

With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.

• Collect designated domestic waste streams within the Telford & Wrekin borough

• Operating vehicles in line with all training, procedures and legal requirements to protect the safety of yourself, your team and the public.

• Checking your vehicle for condition and roadworthiness, completing the appropriate forms and reporting any issues immediately.

• Ensuring at the end of your shift that the vehicle is tipped, washed and the cab is left hygienic, clear of litter, uniform and personal effects.

• Driving and loading a variety of vehicles from 7.5T to 32T

What we’re looking for;

• Cat C (Class 2) Licence

• Digi / Tachograph Card

• Driver CPC

• Experience in the Waste Industry is preferred
